Made it on time this week!

Made it on time this week. Let's Celebrate the Small Things. My key moments have been:
  • The return of hubby from his golfing trip
  • Lunch with my son on Wednesday - he treated me to an enormous piece of carrot cake
  • Continuing harvest from the allotment
  • Negotiating my way round the Ice Bucket Challenge - I've made my donation to MND, but haven't drenched myself in cold water
  • Lots of variety in my yoga teaching - one-to-one sessions, my regular ladies and getting to know some newbies; and preparing to cover a class for the next three weeks
  • Friday Night Dinner - both 'boys' are joining us tonight, but I do worry that we might be turning into a sitcom

Have a good weekend, folks.

'Celebrate the small things' is a bloghop instigated by VikLit on her blog Scribblings of an Aspiring Author and co-hosted by Diana Wilder, LG Keltner @ Writing Off the Edge, Cyborg Mom (Katie) and CaffeMaggieato @ mscoffeehouse. Details are here

  1. Love your celebrations, especially the no ice bucket challenge!

  2. I drenched myself in the cold water, but I didn't want my husband to make fun of me for trying to get out of it, so that's the main reason why I went through with it. I loved Patrick Stewart's ice bucket challenge though. He did it right. Hope you're having a great weekend!

  3. Catherine and LG: I'm getting bored of the IBC now. I was behind someone in the supermarket the other day who had a trolley full of ice, which she was buying to use in the challenge. Something wrong there, surely.

  4. Yum carrot cake!!! Sounds like a great week.

  5. I think a donation is a sensible way to go. That bucket of ice does not sound good to me.

  6. My mother is just like the nan in Friday Night Dinner. Hilarious show. Carrot cake bought by your son is a treat indeed. (leaves note for own son)

  7. Enjoy the family dinner and your weekend!
