- Someone else has downloaded my story 'Linda's Lucky Break' from Ether Books.
- Managed to get a tricky proofreading job finished on time.
- One son has a new job and the other has been given more hours.
- I have use of my legs. I'm not being flippant, but having tried wheelchair basketball at the weekend, I have newfound respect for anyone who can get around in a wheelchair.
Certainly good things to celebrate, particularly the last one; we tend take things for granted a lot, until we don't have them anymore.ReplyDelete
Thanks for stopping by, Laura.ReplyDelete
Yay for the download!ReplyDelete
Congrats to your sons and yes we should be grateful for legs and all other things we take for granted, I celebrate with you!
And I with you!Delete
What great things to celebrate, the last one especially, we should be grateful for what we have. Congrats to your sons on the jobs! Thank you for joining in. *Twirls you*ReplyDelete
Thought I wasn't having a very good week until I came to focus on the small things. Thanks for this excellent motivational hop thingy.Delete
Proofreading...that's more than enough for a big pat on the back from me! Happy Friday to you:)ReplyDelete
And to you. Thanks for stopping by.Delete
Those are all wonderful things to celebrate. We do take a lot of very wonderful things for granted, dont' we?ReplyDelete
Indeed we do. Thanks for stopping by.Delete
It sounds as though you have a lot to celebrate with your sons and your proofreading! And the legs. I broke my little toe once - and I developed the most profound gratitude for the fact that I am not in a wheelchair and have both my feet. (I also learned that if I am planning to kick my younger brother, it is wisest to wear heavy boots, lest I break my other little toe!)ReplyDelete
I have a brother seven years younger than me. When he was a toddler and was tearing round the house, I used to climb into his playpen to keep out of his way.Delete
What great celebrations for you this week! It's always great when you can be happy for yourself and others as well.ReplyDelete
Let's share the love! Om shanti.Delete
These are 4 great things to celebrate!ReplyDelete
I'm sure you have a newfound appreciation for your legs... it's true that we take these things for granted!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
